Coming home

23 October 2019 by Jo

It’s been quite a while since I posted here, but then quite a lot has been happening-to put it mildly!!! Firstly, I and 5 of the herd have located back to my home on the West Coast of Ireland in Co Mayo. After 7 exciting and fascinating years in Co Durham, I needed to go home. Home for me is 6 acres of wild land running from some beautiful raised boglands down to the shore. Yes we have our own piece of Atlantic shore, full of sea birds, wild flowers, insects and a huge assortment of shore life. So this is Re-wilding at Horsethinking on the Wild Atlantic Way!! The Maiden Law site is going from strength to strength in partnership with Climate Action North, and is blossoming into a hub for businesses and interested organisations to begin to understand how vital it is to let nature work its own magic, in its own way – not dominated and controlled by humanity. So we are developing into an international movement!!! I will be posting from the Irish centre and will be happy to hear your reactions to the new venture
