Requests for Horsethinking’s Equine Assisted Psychotherapy retreats have developed over the last few years.

Since 2013 we have run EAP programmes in the UK once a week over an 8 week period and have had very positive results.

At the same time we were increasingly being contacted by self-referring clients, anxious to experience this form of therapy, but due to family and/or work commitments, unable to commit over such a long period.

Many of these clients lived a long distance away or even in other countries.

With such clients, who are self-referring and very motivated, we found that Intensive programmes were highly effective, and often these clients returned on an annual basis, reporting sustained long term improvements in their state of mind and quality of life.

Since relocating the centre back to Co. Mayo on the beautiful West coast of Ireland, from the UK, it has been our ambition to offer such retreats.

And now we can!
